Hans’ journey in tattooing started 23 years ago in New Zealand, where he apprenticed in a family studio owned by his grandma learning the artistry and tradition firsthand. His dedication to the craft led him to attend conventions in both Australia and New Zealand, expanding his knowledge and travelling to Europe to attend a worldwide tattoo conference where he learnt from some of the world’s best and networking within the industry. With a formal education from the Browne School of Art, Hans has an interest in large-scale black and grey realism. His passion for the art form and commitment to excellence have solidified his reputation as a masterful tattoo artist.
